White Mountain National Forest

This work is the result of an artist residency in the White Mountain National Forest, located eastern New Hampshire and western Maine. It is a federally managed forest within the White Mountain range, with waterfalls, lakes and ponds, forests, and endless trails and swimming holes. During my residency, I experimented with many plant species to make paper, and created an artist book, the Lacustrine series of aquatic plants embedded in sediment paper, and several cyanotypes. I also led a removal of problematic plants and subsequent papermaking demonstration.
