You can find me in Newport the first few weeks of December, where I am relocating my studio practice to the Dorrance H. Hamilton Gallery as the Department of Art and Art History's 2019 Hamilton Artist in Residence.

During this period, I will share my creative process with the Salve Regina community and incite new opportunities for learning and collaboration on campus.

I will be working on new works for the series ‘Rhode Island Herbarium'. Since 2017, I have collected seaweeds and pondweeds from Rhode Island waterways, embedding them in pulp during the wet hand papermaking process. First an identification method while exploring displaced species, this ongoing exploration is now a series of over 100 works.

Stop by to see these works, and find me working in the gallery during its regular hours. Just contact me ahead of time to set your appointment.

Additionally, on Thursday, December 12 the campus community and the general public are invited to attend an Open Studio Reception from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
